Lewis Cass First Graders recently visited the Walton Public Library. Each month these students get to hear a special story and then have an activity related to the book. At their January visit volunteer Margaret Armstrong read the book Big Snow by Jonathan Bean. The students then were given instructions of how to make snowflakes out of coffee filters by librarian Kathy Naphew. With the help of Kathy, Margaret and Beth the children had fun and made some interesting snowflakes. On this particular January day, the only snowflakes we saw were those the children made. Thank you to Beth, Kathy, and Margaret for an exciting visit for our Lewis Cass First Graders!
