Chris Armstrong - Executive Director
Chris has over eleven years experience in non-profit management and four years in city government. Past experience includes working in the community with businesses, non-profits and government, as well as fundraising, public relations and marketing. She has served on numerous boards and committees. “I love helping people and being a part of the community!” She and Gary have been married for 32 years. They have two grown children. Brock a graduate of Manchester University is serving in the United States Air Force. Karli is a graduate of Purdue University with a degree in Psychology.
Peggy Scott - Director of Impact
Before joining United Way of Cass County, Peggy was a teacher with the Logansport School Corporation for 36 1/2 years. During her teaching career she was involved with the Reading Railroad program by participating with Business Partners, first grade library visits, the backpack program, and teaching BegindergartenTM. Her love of these programs is what drove her to this United Way position. "Having a second career helping children and being involved in this community is a blessing." Peggy is a graduate of Lewis Cass High School and Indiana University. She has been married to Rick for 37 years. They have two grown daughters. Abby married to Pete Lundy and Natalie married to Garrett Baldini. They have two grandchildren Izzy and Graeme.
